Water Conservation and Coin Laundries

Commercial laundry machines use about half as much water as the laundry machines used in individual homes or apartments.

Big Business in Big D: Dallas Entrepreneur Comes Clean with Gigantic New Laundry/Car Wash Operation

It has been said that everything’s bigger in Texas. And, apparently, that goes for the laundromats, too.

At least as of last May, that is.

That’s when long-time Dallas businessman Nick Rizos first entered the self-service laundry industry – in a very, very big way.

Card or Coin? which is best for a laundry business

A coin change machine can cost around $2000 and it is best to have more than one in case one has a problem that takes it out of service.

A card system can run into the tens of thousands of dollars.

When figuring out equipment costs, don't forget seating, tables and maybe even a TV on the wall for them to watch.
Investigate local laws and regulations.. some cities are charging high hookup fees that have to do with water or sewage. Besides hook up fees, make sure and investigate any ongoing charges for water/sewage you may incur.

Investment opportunity for these times

We are in interesting times.  Many traditional investments no longer give returns once you factor in inflation.

This site is going to talk about coin operated or card operated laundries as a business opportunity.

No matter the cycle that the economy finds itself in, people need to do their laundry, and many types of people do not have nor are able or willing to buy their own washing and drying machines for their own personal or family use.
